Professional Background
David has over 28 years of private equity and investment experience working for some of the world’s leading family offices and financial institutions. David is the founder and chief investment officer for Idyllic Partners, an outsourced CIO firm focused on alternatives. David most recently served as CIO for the Pritzker Family Foundations and PSP Partners, the family office of Penny Pritzker. Prior to that, he was Head of External Funds at Soros Fund Management, where he oversaw approximately $13 billion of assets in investments across all asset classes, including private markets (VC, growth, PE, credit, RE) and public markets (long-only and hedge funds).
David currently serves on the Board of Trustees of Brick Presbyterian Church of New York and its Investment Committee. He also serves on the Investment Committee for one of the largest Mexican pension plan managers focused on committing approximately $2 billion annually into global private markets. He is also an Advisory Board member of Quantinno Capital Management.
